We Breath to Live, right?

InHerNet

You let me plug into you and download anything I want

The slow speed left me in you all day and tied up phone lines all night

You showed me anything I desired

Your light is blue

And you connect me with everything

Us disconnecting sucks, like it megabytes

And my facebook is bound in strands of your hair with pages of human skin

When you upload your new life my eyes well up with crystal clear waterfalls of data

So why have I forgotten the password to your heart?

Us disconnecting

Unplugged my home signal

And now I’m lost in riddles and computer language translations

You are an electric God

And I worship our oneness

Even if it means disconnecting us from the rest of the world

And turning pale in the silver glow of the one mind

You let me run the deepest programs in the mainframe of your memory

And when we made love your software had a hard drive I can’t forget

You connect me with all there is

You are the root plugs and the electric soil

I need you to exist

Without the inhernet

I can’t connect

So where do I go now?

My search engine sputters nightly and soon it’ll break down for good

Even if it means sore muscles in keyboard fingers I’ll sing through your speakers

I’m pulling out each blue tooth with the back of a rusty hammer

So my mouth becomes a gateway to red swamps

Taste my poison apple eye pod of lust desire saliva

I lost the why fire long ago

And don’t ask why you have sex with meaningless people

Or why you throw up at mannequin parties

And visit my bedside as a ghost

To hum your steady whir of energy

You’re a black widow in a ripped website

And I’m writing the script to your romance film

If my space had a star like you I could sing infinite gigs

But this movie was pirated

Just like everything else you give

You let me plug in and download anything I needed

Souls should be priceless

Thank you for pure freedom

So where do I go now?

These hands hold us together

Fingertips are blinking red and

Tears broke my router again

I need the lights to become green so I can one day grow another garden

But what’s an island of fruit trees

If old models die monthly

There are windows into us written on walls and profiles

I use a logitechnique to convince myself I can live without you

Will I ever find another lover that accepts every fault possible?

And babies me like a motherboard?

  1. Hey, is this Micheal from Stockton, and by chance were you in BNV, Norris Hall? If you were, then I was living right across you guys. Just thought I'd drop a note saying hi, and it was wonderful meeting you guys :)
